Mindful Muse—A Lettering Coloring Book-Digital Copy
A compilation of past lettering projects that I've done, are carefully selected and now available to you in a coloring book format. Hand lettering is a very therapeutic experience for me. Why did I create Mindful Muse?
I started lettering back in 2016 in college when I first experienced depression. Not knowing how to navigate it, I suffered from lack of confidence, bad eating habits, skin problems and even suicidal thoughts. (It took me a long time to get to a place where I can share this with you)
With the help of some design friends, I came across ‘Type 365’—A lettering a day project. I took on the challenge for the entire year, joined Ig to document my growth and build a community to keep me accountable and that experience allowed me to transmute my depressive state of mind into a more artistic and mindful expression.
